How to watch Sugar — is it streaming?

The new detective drama Sugar features Colin Farrell as a private investigator. Here is all the information about streaming the show, including whether it is available on Netflix.

Colin Farrell’s recent years have been successful. In 2022, he was praised for portraying Oz Cobblebot in The Batman. The following year, he earned a Best Actor nomination for his outstanding role in The Banshees of Inisherin.

In preparation for his upcoming Penguin series, Farrell will be starring in his own detective drama as the lead character, John Sugar. This will take place in 2024.

The show, heavily inspired by the film noirs of the 1940s and ’50s, follows Sugar, an investigator who discreetly locates missing individuals. The series begins with Sugar’s mission to find a kidnapped son, followed by a job involving a missing granddaughter. Keep reading to find out where and how you can watch the show.

Where to watch Sugar

Both ‘Olivia’ and ‘These Pieces, These Places,’ the first two episodes of Sugar, are now available for streaming on Apple TV+. They were both released on April 5, 2024. As an exclusive for Apple, Sugar will not be featured on Netflix.

The remaining six episodes will be released every Friday in the following schedule:

  • Episode 1: Olivia – April 5
  • Episode 2: These Pieces, These Places – April 5
  • Episode 3: Shibuya Crossing – April 12
  • Episode 4: TBA – April 19
  • Episode 5: Boy in the Corner – April 26
  • Episode 6: The Fun – May 3
  • Episode 7: Cabal – May 10
  • Episode 8: Farewell – May 17
