How to Watch VHS Beyond for Free on Shudder: Easy Tricks Revealed

V/H/S Beyond, the latest chapter in Shudder’s acclaimed found-footage franchise, has officially premiered – and there’s a fantastic way to stream it for free.

The V/H/S series has delivered some of the most memorable found-footage films ever created, featuring a collection of short stories with terrifying sequences that linger long after watching. For instance, the segments ‘Safe Haven’ and ‘Slumber Party Massacre’ from V/H/S 2 stand out as some of the scariest, providing a glimpse into the horror you can expect.

Shudder revitalized the series with V/H/S 94 in 2021, successfully returning to form after a lackluster third installment in 2014. With glowing reviews, this latest entry is being hailed as potentially the best horror film in the anthology franchise to date.

V/H/S Beyond premiered on Shudder today (October 4), but no need to fret if you don’t have an account. Shudder provides a seven-day free trial, allowing you to sign up to enjoy the new film and opt out if the rest of the library doesn’t catch your interest.

However, we think you’ll want to stick around! This month, Shudder is also releasing three additional horror films: Daddy’s Head, MadS, and Azrael (featuring Samara Weaving from Ready or Not), in addition to Russell Crowe’s The Exorcism.

V/H/S Beyond has earned an impressive 85% score on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the second-highest rated film after V/H/S 94, which boasts a 90% rating.

The AV Club described it as “one of the best films in the series, demonstrating how much potential this franchise still holds,” while FandomWire noted that it’s “by far the most ambitious, cinematic, and consistent entry.”

As the V/H/S anthology series progresses into its seventh film, it continues to shine, with V/H/S Beyond introducing more sci-fi elements that unveil a new realm – perhaps even a new galaxy – of possibilities, as highlighted by THN in their review.

For fans of Kevin Smith, there’s a segment directed by Justin Long that draws inspiration from his most disturbing film: Tusk.

Additionally, we’ve compiled a list of every horror movie arriving on streaming platforms this October 2024.
