The After Hangang penthouse, with a total area of 273.85 square meters spread over 2 floors, was assigned to j-hope in 2020. On June 10, the idol completed the necessary ownership transfer procedures. Real estate experts estimate the price of an apartment in this building to be around 12 billion KRW (equivalent to nearly 8.6 million USD).
Situated adjacent to Yongsan Park and offering stunning views of the Han River, After Hangang is a highly prestigious residential neighborhood in South Korea. The development, designed by renowned architect Yoo Hyun Joon, consists of 26 luxurious apartments ranging from 205.84 to 273.94 square meters.
It was previously reported that j-hope had bought 2 apartments in Trimage, Seongsudong, Seoul, and he continues to hold ownership of them.
In April of last year, j-hope began his military service and is currently working as an assistant instructor at the Training Center of the 36th Infantry Division. His expected discharge date is October 17, 2024. His most recent public appearance was alongside his fellow BTS members to celebrate Jin’s release from the military.
Even though he is in the military, j-hope’s latest album still managed to reach the top of the US Billboard charts. “Hope on the Street Vol 1,”a special album released on March 29, debuted on the Billboard 200 chart.
