Hungrybox, a professional player in Smash Bros, is renowned for his wild and celebratory reactions. However, his recent victory at the Get On My Level tournament has sparked debate within the community about whether throwing a chair onto the stage should be praised.
Hungrybox is certainly a standout competitor, not only because of his skill with Jigglypuff. His iconic chair throw moments not only draw more attention to the tournament, but also add to the narrative among players.
On the other hand, there is a real possibility of someone getting hurt or causing property damage by throwing things around.
The controversy is significant enough that even Ludwig has shared his thoughts on it, yet the Smash community remains divided on whether it is acceptable or not.

However, Ludwig is correct. In addition to tweeting and promoting the clip, the tournament organizers also have plans to further incorporate the meme.
He has already completed a photoshoot with the chair, which will be used to promote the event next year. The photoshoot also revealed that the chair is indeed broken.

Despite this, Get On My Level has faced criticism for sharing these images and appearing to support his behavior, with some arguing that it sets a negative example for other tournaments and their organizers.
After being called out by someone for throwing a chair, Hungrybox responded with the statement, “suck my d*ck” .
Despite the level of excitement behind his pop-off, it may have given the impression that Hbox had won the entire tournament. However, the footage in question was actually from a match in the loser’s bracket. While it did take place towards the end of the tournament, it was not even in the top 4.
Hungrybox was subsequently defeated by fellow Smash Bros legend Mang0, narrowly missing out on advancing to the top 4 with a close 2-3 loss.
