On September 16th, a video titled “Hwasa’s Drink Interview” premiered on webtoon artist Kian84’s YouTube channel Insaeng84.
In this entertaining video, Kian84 reflected on how, as he ages, he frequently finds himself collaborating with individuals younger than himself in the broadcasting industry.
When Hwasa inquired about Kian84’s age, he responded, “I’m 41.” Hwasa expressed her surprise, stating, “But you still look young.”
Kian84 playfully replied, “I take care of myself. I’m still single, so if I let myself go and start resembling an old man with a big belly, what would I do?”
He displayed a careful perspective regarding marriage. When Hwasa asked, “Do you want to get married?” Kian84 shared, “If someone I like comes along one day, I think there will come a time when I’ll want to marry. I should be prepared for that moment.”
After absorbing Kian84’s insights, Hwasa honestly confessed, “I’m not good at flirting, and it’s difficult for me to accept it, too.”
When Kian84 queried, “You’re in your prime, so aren’t you considering getting married?” Hwasa replied, “I don’t know. If a good person comes along, won’t it just naturally happen when the time is right?”
Last June, Hwasa found herself at the center of dating rumors, reportedly involved with a businessman 12 years her senior for five years. At that time, her agency P NATION commented, “It’s difficult to confirm as it’s a private matter,” and no further statements were issued concerning the dating rumors.
In the meantime, Hwasa is poised for a comeback on the 19th with her second mini-album titled O. As suggested by the title “O,” this album conveys a positive message about living life flexibly and in a well-rounded manner. The title track “NA” showcases Hwasa’s independent charm as she confidently walks her own path, undeterred by the opinions of others.
