On July 28th, a post titled “Why are fans of NewJeans saying f*ck you to Lisa?”received significant attention, with approximately 20,000 views.
The post displayed a picture of a supposed fan of NewJeans who had a negative reaction to a post about Lisa. Pop Crave stated, “BLACKPINK Lisa looks stunning in these latest photos.” The account “NewJeans Global” left a comment stating, “She looks awful.”
The post received a lot of criticism from netizens who accused the author of bringing up old news. Some even speculated that the author, possibly a HYBE employee, was intentionally trying to create negative publicity for NewJeans.
Comments were made such as, “I cannot fathom that the blue-check account would do such a thing,””This is incredibly obvious, you HYBE-roach,”and “The netizen is obviously trying to stir up hate towards NewJeans by bringing up old news involving Lisa. Please ignore this and do not let it instigate you, Lisa’s fans.”
