HYBE Addresses NewJeans’ Appeal for Min Hee Jin’s Reinstatement as CEO of ADOR

HYBE has addressed the injunction request for Min Hee Jin’s reinstatement as CEO of ADOR. This update follows NewJeans’ live broadcast on YouTube, where they advocated for Min Hee Jin’s return and the restoration of ADOR’s original environment and dynamics.

On September 11, NewJeans set a deadline for HYBE to reinstate Min Hee Jin as the CEO of ADOR, requesting that the multi-label company reappoint her by September 25.

On September 14, the Korean news outlet TenAsia reported exclusively on HYBE’s dismissal of the request.

Here is HYBE’s statement:

“Once concluded, the agreement will cease to be effective upon termination.

To acquire legal confirmation of this matter, a ‘lawsuit for confirmation of the shareholders’ termination’ agreement has been filed, and we can patiently wait for legal judgment. Min Hee Jin’s dismissal was an independent decision by ADOR’s board of directors.

It has nothing to do with HYBE or the shareholders’ agreement. We regret that Min Hee Jin, who has emphasized the importance of independent management as a separate entity, failed to comply with the decision of the board of directors.”
