On May 19, Min Hee-jin made her first official statement following her press conference against HYBE and its founder Bang Si-hyuk.
Min Hee-jin stated that she had considered retiring from the industry altogether and countered HYBE’s allegations that she had met with Naver and Upbit to take ADOR away from HYBE.
“Contrary to popular belief, I did not initiate the 4-party meeting between myself, HYBE, and the two companies. It was not my suggestion to meet with them and our discussion was not related to any investments. This is what the ADOR CEO firmly stated.”
Moreover, Min Hee-jin also accused HYBE executives of frequently bringing their business associates to “room salons and 10% longues”, many of which could be classified as upscale brothels.
The ADOR CEO questioned, “Is it truly wrong for me, as the CEO of a company, to meet with investors? Will HYBE also closely examine the executives of their other labels if they meet with investors? Have they performed audits on those who have repeatedly brought investors and business partners to room salons and 10% lounges?”
