HYBE Expresses Gratitude for Court’s Decision as Min Hee-jin’s Bid to Reassume ADOR CEO Position is Denied

On October 29th, HYBE shared their appreciation for the court’s prudent verdict, stating, “We are thankful for the court’s wise decision. With this ruling, we will concentrate on stabilizing ADOR, enhancing our multi-label framework, and fortifying our artists’ endeavors.”

Earlier that same day, the Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Division 50, led by Presiding Judge Kim Sang-hoon, rejected Min Hee-jin’s request for an injunction against HYBE. The dismissal indicates that the court has closed the case without evaluating its substantive aspects, as the necessary legal standards were not fulfilled.

In the preceding months, specifically in April, HYBE had accused Min Hee-jin of violating trust obligations, alleging that she attempted to seize management control of ADOR. Subsequently, in August, the internal board of ADOR ousted Min from her role as CEO, designating Kim Joo-young, who serves as HYBE’s Chief Human Resources Officer, as her successor. Nonetheless, on September 13th, Min sought an injunction for a shareholders’ meeting and for her reinstatement to the board.
