A dispute between HYBE Labels and Min Hee Jin, the CEO of its subsidiary ADOR, has gained widespread attention. According to HYBE, Min Hee Jin orchestrated a plan to take over complete ownership of ADOR, the agency that manages NewJeans.

Despite HYBE’s allegations that Min Hee Jin and other executives made attempts to gain full control of ADOR without the knowledge of HYBE Labels, the CEO of ADOR called for an urgent press conference at the Korea Conference Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul.

At the press conference, Min Hee Jin revealed information about various topics such as Bang Si Hyuk’s treatment towards her, the broken promise of NewJeans being the first HYBE girl group to debut, and the NewJeans members showing support for her.

On that very day, Korean netizens were quick to point out that any posts expressing support for Min Hee Jin were immediately flagged and moderated by an administrator, while those supporting HYBE were left untouched.
This caused speculation that the company was attempting to silence those who supported Min Hee Jin.
