On September 11, members of NewJeans hosted a live broadcast on YouTube, voicing various accusations against HYBE and calling for the return of Min Hee-jin.
During the broadcast, Hanni from NewJeans mentioned that a manager at HYBE instructed the artists to ignore her when she greeted them, raising concerns about potential mistreatment.
Minji also shared her fears that NewJeans might be facing secret ostracism since Min Hee-jin’s departure from the CEO role, and expressed that the girl group feels unprotected.
Conversely, some opinions suggest that HYBE may feel wronged and unjustly accused.
An industry insider noted, “I know that within HYBE, they are cautious with the NewJeans members because they worry that even minor issues could create problems. Rather, they seem anxious, and this mindset can lead to misunderstandings during interactions.”
