During a press conference on April 25, Min Hee-jin, the CEO of ADOR agency NewJeans’, spoke about the various controversies that arose due to the ongoing feud between HYBE and ADOR.
In addition, Min Hee-jin has expressed concerns for ADOR’s sole artist, NewJeans, stating that HYBE’s actions are causing harm to the girl group.
In response to this, HYBE has released an official statement on the fan communication platform Weverse outlining their plans with NewJeans.

We would like to make known our intention to take legal measures in order to safeguard the rights and interests of NewJeans.
NewJeans intends to carry on with their promotional efforts, which include launching a new song MV on the 27th and releasing a double single in both May and June. Our team is committed to providing full support to NewJeans to ensure that their comeback is not hindered.
Recently, we have discovered numerous malicious articles that violate the rights and interests of our artists, damaging their reputation through defamatory, slanderous, mocking, and derogatory content. While we have been consistently taking legal actions against these violations for NewJeans, we have observed that the severity of these actions towards our members has increased. Therefore, we have made the decision to hire an additional law firm to protect the rights and interests of our artists.
In order to safeguard the rights and interests of our artists, HYBE will gather all information that violates NewJeans and pursue legal action to the fullest extent. We want to emphasize that we will respond with unwavering and non-negotiable principles, in accordance with our existing legal policies.
In addition, we are committed to providing both practical and emotional support to the artists in order to help them recover psychologically and find stability in their emotions. We kindly ask that you refrain from making unfounded criticisms or disparaging remarks about the artists.
