On June 27th at 7 p.m., NewJeans successfully held their fanmeeting ‘Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome’ at Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. This event marked a significant achievement for NewJeans, as they became the fastest overseas artist to perform at Tokyo Dome, achieving this milestone in just one year and 11 months after their debut.
In April, Hyein was forced to pause her activities and seek treatment after finding a microfracture on the top of her foot. However, she made a comeback announcement by participating in the fanmeeting “Bunnies Camp”on June 20th, leading fans to eagerly anticipate the event.
During the fanmeeting, while NewJeans were expressing their emotions, Hyein became overwhelmed and started crying. She tearfully thanked her sisters for their concern during her absence from group activities. As the NewJeans members comforted her and wiped her tears, Hyein expressed her gratitude for their hard work. Minji also opened up, admitting that she often thought of Hyein while performing as a four-member group. She worked tirelessly to make up for Hyein’s absence, and Hyein always supported them from afar. This caused Minji to also shed tears.
Hyein tearfully expressed her gratitude, saying, “It has been such a long time since I last saw the Bunnies. Each and every one of you is so special and capable of shining brightly. Thank you for always being by my side.”Minji chimed in, “It feels like a dream to see the Bunnies filling such a large venue. I hope everyone will continue to anticipate NewJeans in the future.”
