On August 2, Hyeri published a video on her channel, titled “Receiving the Rising Star Award at the New York Asian Film Festival and the premiere of the film ‘Victory’ felt like a dream!”
Hyeri traveled to New York for a business trip in this video, as her film “Victory”received an award at the New York Asian Film Festival. Upon arriving at her accommodation, she captured the beautiful view on camera. Hyeri’s back-revealing dress and apparent lack of a bra also caught the attention of viewers.
On the third day of her business trip, Hyeri and Park Se-wan filmed a challenge video at Dumbo and Central Park, and later decided to have steak for dinner. Hyeri recalled the situation where she was mistaken for a minor by the staff when they refused to serve her and Park Se-wan wine. “I had to show them my ID for them to finally serve us. It was frustrating because even when I told them I was 30, they still doubted me. They would have believed me if I said I was 21,”she explained.
