On the afternoon of the 17th, Hyeri made a radiant appearance at the Elle Style Awards photocall, beaming with joy.
Upon winning the title of Best Style Icon Woman, she expressed her gratitude, stating, “I’m incredibly thrilled to be honored with such a prestigious award. In reflecting on my activities this past year, I launched a YouTube channel, worked on the film “Tropical Night,” participated in the variety show “Agents of Mystery,” and released the project “Victory.” Currently, I’m in the midst of filming a drama titled “Friendly Rivalry.”
Hyeri added, “I believe this award is a recognition of my efforts to diversify my appearances throughout the year. I look forward to returning next year with an even more dedicated and beautiful presence,” as she wrapped up her acceptance speech.
Hyeri also shared on her personal social media, “Today, I am the sparkling Best Style Icon Hye-ri,” emphasizing, “The year-end vibes are starting to settle in. I’ve worked hard this year, and I intend to keep that momentum for the coming year,” showcasing her resolve. Yura, her fellow member from Girls’ Day, also took a moment to applaud Hyeri’s achievement.
In recent news, Hyeri’s name has gained attention due to a controversy involving malicious comments. Online discussions intensified after an account, which follows actress Jeon Jong-seo, was found to have left negative comments on Hyeri’s posts. The situation took a turn when there were allegations that the account could be linked to Han So-hee, sparking public outcry.
In response, Jeon Jong-seo’s agency stated that “confirming that information is impossible as it pertains to a private matter,” while Han So-hee’s agency categorically denied all allegations, issuing two detailed statements. One of them strongly asserted, “The social media account mentioned in the media does not belong to Han So-hee, and we will take full legal action if this claim is proven false.”
Previously, Hyeri and Han So-hee were involved in a public dispute. This became a hot topic earlier this year when Han So-hee confirmed her relationship with Ryu Jun-yeol, Hyeri’s ex-boyfriend. Hyeri responded with a comment saying “Interesting,” following which Han So-hee maintained an online presence that continued to stir controversy, even after her breakup with Ryu Jun-yeol.
