The latest episode of “Dex’s Fridge Interview,”posted on August 15th, included a special guest appearance by actress and Girls’ Day member Hyeri.
While in conversation, the topic of Hyeri’s famous aegyo on MBC’s variety show “Real Men”in 2014 came up. Reminiscing, they recalled how Hyeri had tearfully greeted the instructors and made a cute “Hing~”sound before departing from the training camp. Little did they know, this moment would quickly become viral on the Internet.
Dex brought up Hyeri’s aegyo scene and playfully mimicked it, causing everyone to burst into laughter. He remarked, “After seeing that, I couldn’t help but think Hyeri must be incredibly adorable.”
Hyeri responded, “I didn’t expect people to find me cute at all. In fact, I was quite annoyed at the time.”Dex added, “I think you were just feeling very emotional, but they spoke to you in a very stern manner.”
She continued, “Why are they still acting like this, when it’s the last thing? That’s what I was thinking.”She also added, “But I couldn’t express myself, so I simply wanted to say goodbye. That was my intention, but I couldn’t find the words. I didn’t want to deal with this anymore. That’s essentially what I was feeling.”
