Hyeri Talks About Her Aegyo On “Real Man”, “I Got Scolded By My Company’s CEO”

On April 19th, Hyeri’s YouTube channel uploaded a new video which included a special appearance by Sunmi. During the video, Sunmi asked, “Can you teach me how to make a meme?”to which Hyeri responded, “To create a meme, you must be dedicated.”

Sunmi emphasized, “This is the crucial point. You had many unforgettable moments,”bringing up Hyeri’s aegyo in “Real Man”.

After hearing this, Hyeri offered, “Would you like me to share the behind-the-scenes story from that time?”She then explained, “Before the show, my company’s CEO told me, ‘This is our first time featuring a female soldier, so you must not show any weaknesses.’ Despite being surrounded by men, I made sure to adopt a strong and brave mindset. However, I couldn’t hold back my tears during the filming.”

She informed the CEO, “I mentioned it to him and he responded, ‘Did you repeat your actions there?’ to which I replied, ‘Yes, I did.’ He then let out a heavy sigh and asked, ‘Why did you do that? You shouldn’t have done it there!’”

Sunmi was taken aback as she listened to the story attentively. She exclaimed, “It affected you that much? But you had shown such bravery before and then you reacted like that when you said goodbye. Even the viewers watching would have thought, ‘It must have been difficult’, ‘She’s handling it well’, and so on, and yet you did that.”

At the end of 2020, Hyeri, the founder of MPO Corporation, bought a four-story building in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, with a land area of 245.3㎡. She then proceeded to renovate the building. Currently, the market value of the building and land is estimated to be over 7.5 billion won, resulting in a profit of 3 billion won for Hyeri.
