During a performance, Hyolyn of SISTAR19 revealed that she considers THESE 2 celebrities to be her ideal types, with one of them being a member of Stray Kids!
The OG “Summer Queen”made her long-awaited return to MBC M’s “Weekly Idol”on Aug. 14, after an 11-year hiatus. The appearance was to celebrate the release of her new digital single, “Wait,”which was released on the 12th.
On this particular day, she captivated the audience with her exceptional rendition of popular SISTAR songs, including “So Cool,””Loving U,””Ma Boy”by SISTAR19, and her own solo tracks, “SEE SEA”and “Wait.”
The K-pop star, who was moved by the welcoming celebration arranged by the staff, conveyed her appreciation, stating:
“It’s been a really long time since I’ve come on ‘Weekly Idol.’ I actually went with a light heart like I always do, but I’m so grateful for all the effort put into everything from the waiting room to the banners.”
When discussing her debut as a soloist on the show, Hyolyn expressed her love and appreciation for her fellow SISTAR members, stating:
“It feels a little awkward. ‘Weekly Idol’ has a noisy atmosphere, but it feels awkward without my friends to chatter around me.”
Gradually, the solo artist warmed up to the MCs and began to reveal her chaotic yet honest personality. Throughout the conversation, viewers were particularly drawn to her responses about marriage and her ideal types.
The topic was initiated by intern MC Ha Sung Woon, who referenced her previous interview where she had mentioned her desire to get married before the age of 35.
Despite being 33 years old and unmarried, Hyolyn stood by her statement and defended it, stating:
“When I was that age, I thought (I’ll get married) at 35 years old. Now, maybe in my 40s or a little over 40?”
MC Boom’s request for a specific age elicited laughter from Hyolyn with her response.
“I can’t say exactly. I’ll get married when I want to.”
Nevertheless, the idol later clarified in their explanation:
“I am currently in the age mentioned, but I still think I am in my prime. I am sorry for saying such rude things, and I think I will get married when I am in my 40s or 42. I hope it doesn’t get to that point.”
Hyolyn described her ideal type and named two celebrities who possess the qualities she seeks in a potential marriage partner.

The second-generation idol recently chose the fourth-generation star as her ideal type and complimented him as being “extremely cool.”
Felix from Stray Kids. He’s excellent on stage and is really handsome, and even his mindset is also cool. He is a junior that makes you admire and respect.”
In addition, Hyolyn commended DEX, star of “Single’s Inferno,”stating:
“The other person is DEX. He’s really cool and he’s really nice to his hyungs and noonas.”
