During a recent conversation, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon discussed the impressive talents of younger idols, with Hyoyeon’s remarks about the SNSD leader striking a chord among fans.
On October 2, Taeyeon joined her fellow member Hyoyeon on the latter’s YouTube channel, “Hyo’s Level Up.”The episode, titled “Taeyeon always smiles when she’s with Hyoyeon,”featured the duo enjoying a meal of kongguksu (cold soybean noodle soup) as they chatted about their friendship, fellow co-members, the new generation of idols, and more.
In the video, both Taeyeon and Hyoyeon praised the remarkable skills and versatility of younger artists. Taeyeon expressed her amazement, stating, “How can they be talented, beautiful, and skilled? What did they eat to turn out so well?”
Hyoyeon, beaming with pride, responded with a heartfelt compliment for her friend. “But you still do better,”she said to the “INVU“singer. “There’s no one who can touch people’s hearts with their voice as you do, Taeyeon.”
Hyoyeon emphasized that her praise wasn’t simply because they are co-members. Despite Taeyeon’s humble reaction, Hyoyeon continued, “My eyes are drawn to you, and I want to express more support because I genuinely feel it.”She further added, “I watched all the episodes of ‘Begin Again.’ You’re really… really good.”
