Despite his burgeoning interest, his parents, particularly his father, were initially skeptical about his choice of career. “He said he would allow me to pursue acting if I got accepted to the Department of Theater and Film at Chung Ang University, and I made it. Since then, he has given me his full support,” Hyun Bin explained, showcasing a pivotal moment of familial support that solidified his career path.

Breakthrough Role: ‘My Lovely Sam Soon’

Reflecting on his breakout role in “My Lovely Sam Soon,”Hyun Bin expressed gratitude for the opportunities it opened for him, including collaborations with talented actors and crew members. Discussing his explosive popularity post-‘Secret Garden,’ Hyun Bin recalled enlisting in the military right when his career was at its peak. “I completed all the filming and then enlisted in the Marine Corps,” he explained. “Upon returning, I was eager to dive back into acting.
