On October 11, HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung tied the knot at a picturesque outdoor event at Samcheonggak in Seoul, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
The couple first crossed paths while they were both at Cube Entertainment, where HyunA was a member of 4Minute and Yong Jun-hyung was part of BEAST. HyunA made her debut in 2007 with Wonder Girls and later launched her solo career, hitting the charts with popular tracks like “Change” and “Bubble Pop!” She has since become a cherished solo performer. Yong Jun-hyung debuted in 2009 with BEAST, earning acclaim as a rapper and producer with iconic songs like “Fiction” and “Shock.” After departing from the group in 2019 and fulfilling his military duties, he has continued to create music as a solo artist.
Earlier this year, in January, HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung made their relationship public, and after nine delightful months together, they have now become husband and wife.
The groom arrived looking dapper in a white tuxedo, while the bride dazzled in a mini dress paired with red heels. Their ceremony featured a simple exchange of vows without a formal officiant or elaborate performance. The host announced their marriage, marking the official start of their life together.
During the vow exchange, HyunA expressed her commitment, stating, “I will be a wife who participates in my husband’s interests, like a friend, and I will cherish each day without fearing our mornings together.” The couple then exchanged rings, commencing their journey as a married couple. As they reminisced about their path from their initial meeting to this beautiful day, both HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung were visibly moved, shedding tears of joy during heartfelt speeches.
Numerous celebrity friends gathered to celebrate their union, including stars like TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho, actor Hong Seok-cheon, and singer Uhm Jung-hwa, all of whom came to offer their heartfelt congratulations.
