Hyuna’s latest album “Attitude”is set to be released on May 2nd, marking her first release under her new agency, AT AREA, led by the producing duo GroovyRoom. This comes two years after the release of her last album, “Nabillera,”in 2022.
AT AREA commented on Hyuna’s latest album, stating that it perfectly captures her honest and confident attitude, as well as her enduring charms. They also noted that her vocals have evolved and she has taken a bold step forward in her career as an artist.
On January 18th, Hyuna made her relationship with singer Yong Jun-hyung public, which received criticism due to his controversial past. In 2019, Yong Jun-hyung faced accusations of being involved in a chat room with Jung Joon-young. Despite denying the allegations, providing an explanation, and apologizing, the fact that he received illegal videos from Jung Joon-young without reporting it still caused backlash from the public.
On April 18th, Hyuna appeared on a web entertainment show with Jo Hyun-ah where she revealed, “I have been busy attending choreography classes as I prepare for my upcoming album, set to release in the first week of May. I have also been recording songs and taking vocal lessons. In my free time, I have been spending time with my boyfriend Yong Jun-hyung.”This statement sparked controversy as Hyuna has received negative comments for publicly talking about her relationship.
