HyunA’s Controversial ‘My Attitude’ Tour Announcement Receives Backlash: ‘No One’s Coming, Girl’

When a K-pop act or any artist reveals plans for a tour, fans typically react with positivity, excitement, anticipation, and joy. However, this was not the response for soloist HyunA.

On June 4, HyunA made an official announcement for her upcoming “My Attitude”Tour 2024 in North America. Sharing on the social media platform Instagram, the soloist revealed that the tour will begin in Dallas on August 7.

The upcoming events will take place in Houston on August 8, followed by New York on August 10, Toronto on August 13, Chicago on August 14, Los Angeles on August 17, Seattle on August 20, and Berkley on August 21.

However, the comments section was flooded with netizens who were not accepting of the situation, as they called attention to the contentious history between HyunA and ex-HIGHLIGHT member Yong Junhyung. Yong was embroiled in the notorious “Burning Scandal”in 2019.

Despite the announcement, many netizens still expressed their frustration and even declared that they would not be attending her concerts due to her association with Yong Junhyung. Some also referenced the recent BBC documentary, which provided further insights into the controversy.
