I hate Jeon Jae-joon Park Sung-hoon, who lost his real name, and his A+ filmography

In his portrayal of a villain, Park Sung-hoon goes beyond the typical portrayal and effectively conveys both love and obsession towards Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won).

The audience’s response was overwhelming, with many comments expressing their admiration for the actor’s performance and the chilling portrayal of obsession and madness. There was also speculation about whether Jae-joon was responsible for the accident, which garnered a lot of empathy.

It is intriguing to note that actor Park Sung-hoon and the character Yoon Eun-sung are both commonly known as Jae-joon. In a previous appearance on a YouTube channel, Park Sung-hoon shared, “During the filming of ‘Queen of Tears’, I was also known as Jae-joon. His character is so dominant that I have become more associated with him than my own name.”

Park Sung-hoon’s portrayal of Jeon Jae-joon in last year’s Netflix series “The Glory”was unforgettable. His character was a unique blend of snobbery and color blindness complex, which made him incredibly detestable. The viewers were also drawn to Jeon Jae-joon’s distinct sense of humor. Park Sung-hoon’s provocative and sexy performance added to the character’s appeal. It’s no surprise that Jeon Jae-joon left a lasting impression on the audience.

Prior to Jeon Jae-joon, KBS 2TV’s “My Only One” featured Jang Go-rae as the main character. The fact that he was referred to by his character’s name is a testament to his remarkable performance. Merely saying “he did well” does not fully convey the depth of his portrayal. Park Sung-hoon has effectively showcased his versatility as an actor, transitioning from the likable Jang Go-rae to the malicious Jeon Jae-joon.

Despite possessing immense talent and charisma, there was a point in his career where Park Sung-hoon questioned his potential as an actor during his prolonged period of obscurity. Following his debut in the 2008 film “A Frozen Flower” , he faced a three-year hiatus without any projects. However, he began his career with minor and supporting roles, making appearances in popular dramas like “You Are the Boss!” , “Three Days” , “Six Flying Dragons” , “Don’t Dare to Dream” , “Distorted” , “Mad Dog” , “Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me” , and “Rich Man” .

He debuted in the movie industry a full decade before taking on his first lead role in “Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum”(2018). From then on, he continued to make a name for himself through roles in various dramas such as “My Only One”, “Justice”, “Psychopath Diary”, “Into The Ring”, “The Glory”, “Not Others”, “The Kidnapping Day”and “Queen of Tears”.

With the second season of Netflix’s “Squid Game”set to release in the latter half of this year, Park Sung-hoon will once again grace the screen. Given his previous outstanding performance in the global hit, there is much anticipation for what name he will make for himself this time around.
