On June 13th, in honor of BTS’s 11th anniversary since their debut, Jungkook posted a lengthy handwritten letter on the fan community platform Weverse.
Jungkook began with a cheerful tone, stating, “It’s been quite a while since I last wrote a letter by hand, and I must admit my handwriting has deteriorated. Please excuse that, haha.”
Currently fulfilling his duties as an active-duty soldier, Jungkook provided fans with an update on his current well-being, stating, “I am doing well. Although there are difficult moments, I persevere by envisioning the day we will all reunite. There are also enjoyable moments that help me overcome the hardships.”
He added, “On another note, were you able to listen to the fan song ‘Never Let Go’ that was released in June? I had a strong desire to share this song with my fans while working on it. I hope I was able to express my emotions effectively. My original plan was to also perform it, but unfortunately, time constraints prevented me from doing so. If the opportunity arises, I would love to showcase it on stage in the future.”
Jungkook conveyed his excitement to reunite with fans in the near future, stating, “I can’t wait to be back on stage…I long to hear the cheers of ARMY as soon as I can…and I am eager to create even more amazing music.”
Despite the winter having passed and the summer not yet arriving, he expressed his yearning for his fans. He admitted that he often finds himself eagerly anticipating the return of winter, as he misses his fans deeply. He remained hopeful that one day, they will all be able to reunite and enjoy their time together once again.
He ended his speech with a sincere plea, “As we part ways, please prioritize your health and well-being. That way, our reunion will be filled with even more joy! I am deeply longing for your presence and I love you immensely!”
