Episode 4 of I Parry Everything opens with Rein, Lynne’s brother, questioning the king’s decision to entrust Noor with the valuable and peculiar black blade. This blade, considered a national treasure, was acquired by the king and six other adventurers after braving a labyrinth for several years.

Despite being confused by the king’s decision, Rein justifies it by speculating that the king may have sensed a looming threat in the kingdom and took a chance on Noor to aid in the situation. The focus then turns to Lynne and Noor as they navigate through the market and the guild. The Guildmaster presents them with a goblin-hunting mission, taking into consideration Lynne’s esteemed status.

Despite being the lowest ranking member of the group, Noor eagerly accepts the challenge. As they journey through the forest, they come face to face with a Goblin Emperor, whom Noor initially mistakes for a common goblin. Despite the Emperor’s regenerative abilities, they manage to defeat it by targeting its core.

Upon returning to the guild, Rein comes to the realization that the Goblin Emperor was a man-made creature created by a neighboring kingdom. As the episode concludes, Noor and Lynne are confronted with a predicament as they have no evidence of their successful hunt, as the Goblin Emperor was completely destroyed.

What to expect in I Parry Everything Episode 5

Despite the noticeably slower pace in the anime, I Parry Everything episode 5 is expected to showcase Noor’s acceptance of Lynne as his apprentice and their subsequent journey together. In the previous episode, Noor battled a Goblin Emperor, but episode 5 will present his first true test as he faces off against a dragon.
