Warning- The following article contains spoilers for episode 6 of I Parry Everything.

I Parry Everything Episode 6 Highlights

The beginning of episode 6 of I Parry Everything features a flashback to the Demonfolk child, who was previously introduced in episode 5. This flashback reveals that the Demonfolks faced severe persecution and were publicly humiliated and exploited in their own country.

Despite initially using their powers to only control and oversee livestock, the Demonfolk eventually turned to manipulating monsters during a war. This decision resulted in countless tragedies and ultimately caused normal humans to turn against them. Tensions further escalated when it was discovered that the Demonfolk possessed the ability to read minds.

The Demonfolk child, along with his fellow Demonfolk, lived most of his life in captivity, treated as slaves and confined in cages like animals. In hopes of improving their living conditions, the child was tricked by his captors into bringing the Black Death Dragon to Noor’s city, promised better treatment for himself and his people. However, his efforts were met with betrayal as the dragon he was transporting turned on him.

After the Black Death Dragon’s poison takes its toll, the scene transitions to Noor collapsing. It is later uncovered that after his mother’s passing, Noor resorted to scavenging for sustenance in the mountains and unknowingly ingested a deadly mushroom, resulting in him vomiting large amounts of blood.

Nevertheless, Noor quickly conquered the effects of the poison and started consuming every poisonous organism he could come across. This caused him to develop an unusual fondness for such organisms, eventually leading to his body building a tolerance for all types of poison.

Hence, Noor adapts to the venom of the Black Death Dragon and continues his battle against it. He marvels at how the supposedly “toxic toad”could actually be delectable and persists in his fight, with the ultimate goal of consuming it. In the end, he triumphs over the dragon by crushing its mouth during a fiery breath attack, causing the venom to dissipate from the creature’s body.

Afterwards, Noor takes responsibility for the protection of the young Demonfolk, who introduces himself as Rolo. Shortly after, Lynne and Ines seek out Noor to check on his well-being, causing Lynne to misinterpret the situation. She speculates that Noor possessed a miraculous healing ability, comparable to Sain, one of the six rulers of her realm, that could remedy any injuries or illnesses.

Noor asks Lynne for permission to bring Rolo along on their journey. Despite Lynne’s concerns about Rolo’s Demonfolk heritage and his role in bringing a literal disaster to their kingdom, she remembers her father’s advice and chooses to assist Rolo, a vulnerable child who was caught up in unfortunate circumstances.

The sixth episode of I Parry Everything concludes with a sudden appearance of a mysterious person who confronts the entire party. This individual notes that according to his calculations, Rolo should have already perished.

Concluding Thoughts

In episode 6 of I Parry Everything, Noor’s pure nature was once again highlighted as he welcomed and supported Rolo, who had faced discrimination his entire life because of his Demonfolk background. Although action was not the main focus of this episode, episode 7 is expected to address this by featuring a battle between Noor and a human assassin sent to kill Rolo.
