On April 21st, ILLIT, the youngest daughter of HYBE, revealed their official fandom name. Prior to this, BELIFT LAB had announced that the members of ILLIT would be choosing the fan club name from a list of options submitted by fans. Ultimately, the official fandom name chosen by ILLIT was “LILLY,”which has faced criticism from fans of NMIXX and BLACKPINK’s Lisa.

Despite the fact that this name had already been chosen, there was some controversy surrounding it due to its similarity to NMIXX’s Lily. It was argued that using a senior’s name as the fandom name was a violation of business ethics.

Ultimately, ILLIT made the decision to modify the fandom name from LILLY to “LILLYs” . However, the issue continued as “LILLYs” clashed with the individual fan club name of BLACKPINK’s Lisa (LILIES). As a result, ILLIT opted to alter the fan club name once more.
