On the October 22nd episode of SBS PowerFM’s “Cultwo Show,” the K-pop group ILLIT, celebrating their comeback with the new mini-album “I’LL LIKE YOU,” along with artist HYNN, discussed their recent endeavors.
ILLIT unveiled their second mini-album, “I’LL LIKE YOU,” on October 21st. This album narrates the journey of a young girl who, upon encountering someone she desires to connect with, is initially overwhelmed by her emotions but ultimately embraces her feelings, choosing to pursue the relationship with confidence.
During the broadcast, host Kim Tae-gyun inquired, “Bang Si-hyuk was part of the song composition and lyric writing. What insights did he provide you?” ILLIT responded by explaining, “This composition has a balance of brightness and darkness, which made it challenging to express. He offered us valuable guidance on how to represent those emotions and assisted in fine-tuning our choreography.” Gwak Beom expressed his appreciation, stating, “It’s clear he focused significantly on the minutiae.”
In addition, member Wonhee, currently modeling for a sports drink commercial, drew attention with her vibrant appearance. Gwak Beom commented, “It takes more than just beauty; having an invigorating presence is essential for landing a role in this type of advertisement.” When prompted to pose like she did in the commercial, Wonhee showcased her spirited expression, receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience.
When asked about their future commercial aspirations, Moka expressed interest in a shampoo ad, while Minju said she would love to be featured in a potato chip commercial. Yunah shared her desire to promote contact lenses due to her own vision challenges, and Iroha mentioned her enthusiasm for a cosmetics campaign.
The group concluded their appearance by performing their chart-topping track “Magnetic” live.
