On April 24, 2024, Yuna, Minju, Mocha, and Wonhee, members of the group ILLIT, made an appearance on SBS Radio Power FM’s “Cultwo Show”where they discussed their recent updates. Unfortunately, member Iroha was unable to join them due to personal reasons.

During the celebration of their first place win for their title track “Magnetic”on various music programs, member Yunah took the opportunity to express her gratitude to her company, saying, “I would like to once again extend my thanks to the company.”
Despite the challenges, Yunah remained optimistic and expressed her gratitude to the members of BELIFT Lab (a subsidary under HYBE) for their hard work on their album. She emphasized that their efforts were not in vain, and they should be proud of their accomplishments.
Yunah expressed gratitude towards HYBE for their assistance to ILLIT, stating, “I would also like to extend my appreciation to all the members of HYBE for continuously having faith in us and offering us your support. We will strive to put in even more effort in the future.”
During the conversation, Minju also shared her thoughts on witnessing their songs rise on the charts. She expressed, “It’s truly unbelievable and almost like a dream to see our songs climb the charts. We are filled with gratitude and appreciate every moment.”
When questioned about ILLIT’s ability to stream their own songs, Yunah responded by saying that she often listens to their music while showering and that Minju continuously plays the entire mini-album.
ILLIT Garners Attention for Thanking HYBE Amid Feud with ADOR
Min Hee Jin’s statements have brought attention to ILLIT, with her recent remarks causing controversy. She accused HYBE and their subsidiary BELIFT Lab of copying ILLIT’s debut concept, which she claims is the reason for her feud with the company.

On April 22, 2024, HYBE launched an investigation against ADOR representative Min Hee Jin and co-CEO Mr. A due to suspicions of their attempts to gain independence from the parent company. In response, HYBE called for a shareholders’ meeting and requested that Min Hee Jin resign from her position as CEO through a formal letter.
Min Hee Jin responded to the situation by releasing her own statement. Her frustration towards the situation was evident as she even resorted to using the offensive term “NewJeans’ offspring”to refer to ILLIT.

On April 24, multiple reports revealed that Min Hee Jin and other individuals responded to HYBE’s request for an audit by the 6 PM deadline. This audit pertained to the alleged “suspicion of taking over management rights”that HYBE claims to have evidence of.
Min Hee Jin declared that legal action will be pursued if the response content is disclosed to the public.
