Mike Majlak, co-host of the popular Impaulsive podcast, has brought to light his ongoing health issues, including frequent chest pains and episodes of shortness of breath. These alarming symptoms have prompted Majlak to seek the expertise of multiple cardiologists in recent trips.
Since their collaboration began in 2018, following Logan Paul’s attempts to recover from the notorious ‘suicide forest’ controversy, the bond between Majlak and Paul has grown stronger. Initially brought on as a marketing manager, Majlak has now become a cornerstone of the podcast, engaging in discussions with high-profile personalities like Rick Ross, xQc, and Hulk Hogan.
Recently, fans observed Majlak’s absence from an episode where Logan and Jake Paul candidly discussed Jake’s reflections on his match against Mike Tyson. This noticeable gap prompted speculation regarding Majlak’s health.
Mike Majlak Opens Up About His Health Challenges
In a candid moment during the December 5, 2024, episode of Impaulsive, Majlak addressed concerns about his health. During his conversation with Paul, he disclosed his background of opioid addiction and how new challenges have surfaced, stating, “I’ve been dealing with these weird situations. I’ve been having a ton of chest pressure and shortness of breath.”
Majlak elaborated that these health issues are not new to him, revealing, “This is not something that I’m dealing with for the first time.” His quest for clarity regarding his symptoms dates back to early 2023, indicating a prolonged battle with anxiety and stress, both of which he believes may contribute to his physical complaints.
“I believe it could be related to my generalized anxiety disorder and high stress,” Majlak speculated, noting that healthcare professionals had echoed this sentiment. They attribute his troubling symptoms largely to a demanding lifestyle characterized by a rigorous work routine and extensive travel commitments.
Majlak shared an astonishing metric: he had taken more than 106 flights in the current year alone. This relentless pace has undeniably taken a toll on his well-being. “You gotta take responsibility for yourself. You gotta be able to draw the line and be like ‘I’m not gonna do this anymore’,”he reflected. However, when asked about the possibility of slowing down, Majlak’s ambition shone through.
“I don’t know. I’m gonna beat the brakes off of this thing. I can’t stop,” he remarked, highlighting his determination to continue pushing forward despite his health challenges.
