ImperialHal criticizes Apex Legends Season 21 as the “exact same” except one thing

Despite some map changes, Apex Legends pro player Philip ‘ImperialHal’ Dosen remains unconvinced by the Season 21 update, stating that the battle royale still feels like the “same game”.

Usually, with the arrival of a new season in Apex Legends, fans of Respawn’s battle royale would receive a fresh Legend, an additional weapon, several modifications to the map, and adjustments to existing Legends.

Although new seasons are released regularly every few months, not all updates include a new legend. However, Season 21 introduced a new character named Alter and also featured updates to the Broken Moon map, a solos mode, various weapon changes, and improvements to the ping system.

Despite some fans quickly claiming that the new season is the most enjoyable they’ve had in a while, there are some who remain unconvinced. TSM IGL ImperialHal, while a fan of the Broken Moon update, has expressed disappointment with the changes.

“The TSM star shared on his stream, “To be honest, without the new map, the game would be exactly the same.”He also expressed his appreciation for the changes to Broken Moon, stating, “I find the updates to be really great and it’s a lot more enjoyable to play on now.”

“However, whether I am playing on World’s Edge or the other map, it feels like I am essentially playing the same game. In my opinion, there have been minimal changes.”

The time stamp at 0:27 remains unchanged.

Hal has been advocating for alterations to Apex for a while, but he insists that they should be logical. Despite being a two-time ALGS MVP, he was not in favor of the proposal to eliminate the drop ship from competitive matches, citing that it would decrease the level of skill required.

Despite ongoing efforts, he remains hopeful that the issue of cheaters in Ranked games will eventually be resolved. However, the problem has persisted for a significant amount of time and is unlikely to be completely eradicated.
