ImperialHal’s Former Teammates Mock Him After Disappointing ALGS Split 2 Event

Phillip ‘ImperialHal’ Dosen’s ex-TSM colleagues have criticized his subpar performance following Team Falcons’ disappointing placement in the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs.

Despite being hailed as a formidable team with top players such as ImperialHal, Noyan ‘Genburten’ Ozkose, and Rhys ‘Zer0′ Perry, the Falcons disappointed at the LAN event on September 1, finishing in 20th place. Despite being favored to win, the team only managed to earn 20 points in the Grand Finals.

Following the event, Hal’s former TSM teammates utilized social media to criticize the player for his and his team’s underwhelming performance and brag about their own success.

“According to TSM’s Jordan ‘Reps’ Wolfe, it takes three people to win a LAN and one person alone cannot carry the team. This statement was made during a conversation on X.”

Reps responded to his post in a more subdued manner, clarifying that it was primarily directed towards those who suggested that the team’s success was solely dependent on [ImperialHal].

TSM earned a fourth-place finish at the tournament and was in the running for the title during the final, unlike the Falcons who struggled to perform on the last day of the event.

After the event ended, Evan Verhulst also shared his own critique of Falcons and Hal on his Twitter page.

Despite ImerpialHal’s departure for the Suadi Arabian organization, the players have maintained a slight feud. Just a month after the move, ‘Verhulst revealed that playing with ImperialHal was often a “miserable”experience.

The event attracted the attention of the Apex Legends fan base, leading to one Reddit post questioning whether it served as an “ego check”for Hal.

“The post highlighted the irony of someone who blamed their teammates for ranking 17th, then leaving TSM to build a “super team,”only to end up in 20th place.”

The ex-TSM player responded to his former teammate’s posts by informing Verhulst that he has been a great teacher and looks forward to seeing him again at the upcoming ALGS Championships in January.

After departing from TSM, Hal achieved victory in the North American ALGS Pro League during Split 2 and also secured second place at the Esports World Cup. However, his performance in the Split 1 Playoffs was not as successful.
