Imu and Zunesha, two enigmatic figures in the One Piece universe, have many intriguing similarities in their extensive backgrounds and potential ties to Joy Boy. It is likely that Imu, like Zunesha, has been subjected to a similar curse, binding them to their respective locations for centuries. Both have lived for over 800 years and have connections to Joy Boy, although in opposing roles – Zunesha as an ally and Imu as a foe.

Despite the undisclosed genders of Imu and Zunesha, there is a strong indication that they are both female based on compelling evidence. Their long lifespans and significant roles in the Void Century further imply a profound connection to the ancient history of the One Piece universe.

Just as Zunesha is the lifeline for the inhabitants of Zou, the massive elephant island, Imu’s role in Mariejois is crucial. It is believed that Imu plays a significant part in maintaining the stability and defense of the World Government’s seat of power. If Imu were to leave Mariejois, it could potentially lead to its downfall, similar to the catastrophic consequences of removing Zunesha from Zou.

Imu and Zunesha have both lived through numerous generations of beings, resulting in a deep feeling of solitude. This sense of isolation is further emphasized by the lack of companions or friends from their own time.

Similarly, much like the Minks of Zou have incorporated Zunesha’s existence into their customs and lifestyle as it is crucial to their kingdom’s continued existence, it is conceivable that the World Nobles, cognizant of Imu’s significance, have developed ceremonial practices and traditions centered around Imu’s necessities within Mariejois.

The geographical features of Zou and Mariejois share similarities. Both locations are natural fortresses and require considerable effort to reach. The Mokomo Dukedom, home to the Minks, is situated high above ground, similar to Mariejois where the World Nobles reside. This geographical resemblance further strengthens the link between Imu and Zunesha.

Both kingdoms’ traditions and customs are heavily influenced by their respective figures. The Minks have adapted their way of life to accommodate Zunesha’s actions, including its regular bathing. It is also possible that the rituals of Mariejois are specifically designed to cater to Imu’s needs, potentially even incorporating bathing, as proposed by the theory.

The Minks, especially their top fighters known as Guardians, share similarities with the Holy Knights who safeguard Mariejois. Inu and Neko, two renowned Guardians, have explored the world and crossed paths with formidable figures such as Roger and Whitebeard. This experience of the outside world has granted them a wider perspective compared to their fellow Minks who have stayed within Zou.
