The Great Stars is distinct among basic upgrading great hammers in Elden Ring in that it restores 1% of your health after each opponent hit. This healing stacks with Ashes of War that generate numerous hits, like as Prelate’s Charge, and if you buff the Great Stars with the Bloodflame Blade Incantation, the already inherent Bleed building becomes nearly unstoppable. Great hammers were also improved in patch 1.09, and they are currently among the greatest weapons in the game for PvP. Great Stars can be found in Elden Ring at the following locations.
Elden Ring Excellent Stars Excellent Hammer Location
You must first go to the Altus Plateau, either by using the Grand Lift of Dectus in the north of Liurnia of the Lakes or by fighting your way through the Ruin-Strewn Precipice mini-dungeon. You’ll want to get to the northern part of the Plateau, north of the forest and the Lesser Erdtree, but south of the windmills. There’s a massive broken bridge there, and beneath it lies a Site of Grace named the Road of Iniquity Side Walk.
Relax at the Grace before continuing west. You’ll soon come across a big wagon being hauled by two trolls and surrounded by humanoid opponents, similar to the one you saw in Limgrave. The Great Stars are held in the treasure box at the back of the cart, but you must stop the procession to claim them. Fortunately, halting the wagon is simple. You only need to slay one of the chained-up trolls.
To obtain the Great Stars from the cart chest, you do not need to bother about the other adversaries. When one of the trolls dies, the other kneels and stops moving. The lesser opponents will still try to kill you, but you can dodge them totally by opening the chest and claiming the weapon.
The Great Stars can equip various Ashes of War and use various elemental infusions as standard upgrading weapons. As previously said, Bloodflame Blade is a wonderful pick, but Lion’s Claw, Troll’s Roar, and Royal Knight’s Determination are also outstanding. By default, it comes with the Endure Ash of War, which offers you practically endless poise for a short amount of time: useful for trade if you believe your damage is high enough. You won’t be able to boost the Great Stars if you use elemental infusions, but adding Bleed or Cold infusion can increase the weapon’s potential damage significantly.
