Incredible PS1 Harry Potter Game Reimagined with Stunning Graphics

A brand new game inspired by the Harry Potter universe was recently showcased at Steam Next Fest, and it definitely deserves a spot on every fan’s wishlist. Plus, you can try out a playable demo right now.

Secret Agent Wizard Boy and the International Crime Syndicate boldly flaunts its roots in classic PS1 Harry Potter games. Unlike Hogwarts Legacy, this unofficial parody playfully explores the more whimsical and humorous aspects of the wizarding realm.

Players will embark on an adventure at Grumblemort’s wizarding academy (yes, that’s truly his name!), where they must uncover a sinister vault hidden deep within the castle’s dungeon. Sounds a bit familiar, doesn’t it?

However, unlike the classic PS1 titles, Harry Potter enthusiasts will not have to go on this enchanting journey solo. You can join forces with fellow wizards in both cooperative and online PvP modes, adding a wild twist to your adventures. Additionally, there is a “vast array of spells to master,” some of which can be cast on other players for added excitement.

Every fan of the Harry Potter series should definitely keep an eye on Secret Agent Wizard Boy.

The complete list of spells hasn’t been revealed yet, but the demo showcased a spell that turns players’ bodies into jelly—potentially inspired by the infamous Jelly-Legs Curse from the Harry Potter lore—resulting in wild flailing, while another spell lets you lift objects and even other players. As if that wasn’t intriguing enough, Secret Agent Wizard Boy also includes potion crafting, sort of.

If you come across a cauldron, you can toss in various ingredients to create unique potions. For instance, adding the game’s devastating landmines into the cauldron will yield a powerful Explosive Potion, useful for throwing at other players or for breaking open secret pathways.

Another potion boosts your spell potency, giving your magical abilities an impressive kick. While the release date for Secret Agent Wizard Boy is still under wraps, we can expect additional spells and potion combinations to be announced closer to launch.

If you’re a Harry Potter aficionado who enjoyed the PS1 games, make sure to include Secret Agent Wizard Boy in your Steam wishlist and download the demo now!
