Influencer Boxing Match with Pokimane and Mizkif

Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys, the Twitch icon, has expressed her willingness to participate in an influencer boxing event after having a sparring session with Mizkif at his Iron Forge gym.

Ever since Logan Paul and KSI’s groundbreaking match in 2018, influencer boxing has gained popularity and many streamers and online personalities have become involved. The newest potential addition to this trend could be Pokimane.

During a recent livestream, Pokimane was practicing her boxing skills with Mizkif and female MMA fighter Julia Watkins. Julia was particularly impressed by Poki’s powerful punches.

“Watkins praised, “That’s beautiful!”He then asked, “When can we see influencer boxing?”

“Sure, I’m in,”Pokimane responded, while still throwing jabs at Miz on Miz and following Julia’s instructions.

Regrettably, Anys did not have a specific opponent in mind, but dismissed Mizkif’s suggestion of fighting Twitch streamer ‘wantep,’ joking that it would generate negative publicity to defeat a “minor.”

Despite mimicking retired boxer Mike Tyson’s viral training session for his July 20 match against Jake Paul, she showed no interest in a potential fight with him, describing his training as sounding like a “demon.”

It remains to be seen if Pokimane will ultimately step into the ring, although she certainly wouldn’t be the first Twitch streamer to do so.

At the 2022 Creator Clash event, popular Twitch personality JustaMinx emerged as the winner, defeating TikTok star Yodeling Haley.

Andrea Botez, a popular chess streamer, has participated in two matches thus far. The initial one took place at Ludwig’s Chessboxing event, where she unfortunately experienced a contentious defeat against Dina Belenkaya.

Despite competing in Creator Clash 2, Botez was unable to secure a victory against fellow YouTuber Michelle Khare, as reported by Dexerto on Twitter.

Amouranth, the popular streamer, was scheduled to have her first boxing match at Ibai Llanos’ La Velada del Año 3 in 2023. However, she had to withdraw from the event due to health concerns.

It is hoped that Pokimane’s aspirations in boxing are genuine, and that one day the popular Twitch personality will have the opportunity to participate in the next major influencer event, whenever it may occur.
