On Saturday, September 21, a bus carrying 43 passengers and two drivers overturned on a perilous stretch of the Via Dutra highway in southern Brazil.
This devastating accident resulted in the deaths of three athletes from the Coritiba Crocodiles, a Brazilian American football team, and took place in Pirai, Rio de Janeiro.
As a journalist reported the incident live from the scene, musician MC Livinho was seen running across the street, smiling. He proceeded to dance behind the reporter during the broadcast.
Despite the efforts of the journalist’s camera crew to signal him to leave, Livinho chose to continue with a full dance routine during the live segment.

With 13 million Instagram followers and 6 million on TikTok, Livinho felt compelled to apologize to both his fans and the victims of the tragic accident. He issued an apology, indicating he was unaware that the crash resulted in multiple fatalities.
“Everyone was saying that an accident had happened, and here we are stuck in traffic. We didn’t know that any accident had occurred, you know?” Livinho stated.
“I want to express my condolences for the loss you suffered, right? Because now that I went online, I saw fans saying, ‘It was an accident,’” he continued. “So, my condolences to everyone… For those who know Livinho, I will never stop bringing you joy. I will never stop sharing my self-esteem and my message.”
This incident isn’t the first controversial vehicle-related moment to gain attention in September. Earlier in the month, a driver stole a tow truck with another vehicle attached, crashing into several cars during his escape, which led many social media users to criticize his severe road rage.
