“Infuriating” New Pokemon Go Glitch Causes Gyms and PokeStops to Vanish

A recent bug in Pokemon Go is causing frustration among players as it results in the disappearance of important features like Gyms and PokeStops.

The Pokemon Go Reddit community has recently uncovered a glitch that has been described as “infuriating”by trainers, as it is resulting in the disappearance and inaccessibility of Gyms and PokeStops.

The OP posted a screenshot of their gameplay, drawing attention to the noticeable lack of Gyms and PokeStops. A brief note reading “gyms currently being built”hovers over the vacant area where these popular landmarks should be, serving as a painful reminder of their former presence.

According to the responses in the comments, this bug is currently causing major disruption to the gameplay experience of numerous Pokemon Go trainers. One Reddit user even revealed that they encounter this error on a daily basis, leading to a frustrating game experience.

Similarly, someone else mentioned that they have also experienced the effects of this bug for the past month, resulting in a notable decrease in their game play time.

This glitch has caused some players to completely lose interest in the game, especially those who typically start up the game and give berries to the gyms’ Pokestops.

“This bug has significantly impacted my gameplay, as I often enjoy feeding berries to nearby Pokémon. Whenever I encounter it, I simply close the app and move on.”

According to another Pokemon Go player, the glitch also appeared while they were in the middle of “battling a gym,”just like the first two players.

“Additional clarification was given on how they were able to successfully complete the battle. It initially appeared as though someone was attempting to reclaim it, but it was in fact the delayed animation of their own battle. This realization was made after the fact.”

Despite the bug being active for over a month, Niantic has still not addressed the “annoying”glitch.

It has been suggested by trainers that this may be a result of the development team implementing new code and content for upcoming events, although we cannot confirm this.
