Instagram Model Charged in Fatal Car Crash: Woman Claims She is From the Future

An Instagram model who was involved in a three-vehicle car crash that resulted in two fatalities confessed to being under the influence of drugs and claimed to be “from the future”when questioned by authorities.

According to reports, Maecee Marie Lathers, an Instagram model, was involved in a car accident in downtown Miami on August 10 after allegedly running a red light and colliding her Mercedes with a Range Rover.

After the collision, both cars crashed into a silver Suzuki sedan. Unfortunately, the driver of the sedan, Abraham Ismael, did not survive the accident and was pronounced dead at Jackson Memorial Hospital. The passenger in the back seat also passed away, but Ismael’s wife, Juanita Hernández, miraculously survived, along with the driver of the Range Rover.

Since her injuries and caring for her 16-year-old son have prevented her from working, Hernández created a GoFundMe page to raise funds.

At present, my injuries have rendered me unable to work and the boy’s life has been completely disrupted,”she stated. As of the time of this writing, the GoFundMe page has accumulated a little over $10,000 in donations.

Following the accident, Lathers reportedly attempted to elude the scene but was stopped by bystanders who prevented her from getting away. She was subsequently taken into custody and allegedly informed the authorities that she had consumed “pink cocaine,”also referred to as “2C.”

According to the New York Post, Maecee Marie Lathers, an Instagram model, faced charges of four counts of driving without a license resulting in death or serious injury, as well as four counts of leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death or serious injuries.

Maecee Marie Lather’s confessed to being on “pink cocaine.”

During the court hearing, Judge Mindy S. Glazer of the Florida 11th Circuit Court presented a statement from the officers, stating that the defendant had admitted to being under the influence of a known party drug called ‘2C’. She also claimed to be from the future and have a crystal ball.

Martez Gordon, the attorney representing her, opposed the prosecution’s request for a $500,000 bond, deeming it to be “unreasonable.”

“According to him, she is not a threat to the community and has been a college graduate residing in Florida for nearly two years, Your Honor.”

Despite Judge Glazer’s disagreement, she still deemed Lathers “an absolute danger to the community.”Additionally, she pointed out that Lathers should not have been driving in the first place, as her license had been suspended.

If it weren’t for the nearby citizens or witnesses who intervened and stopped her, she would have managed to flee completely.

The judge agreed to release her on house arrest, on the condition that she pays a reduced bond of $140,000 and refrains from driving.

Lathers has been residing in Florida since 2022, having previously lived in New York. Despite her move, her Instagram profile is still active and has garnered 11,000 followers. Additionally, she is currently associated with two modeling agencies.
