During an interview with *Sports Chosun* on August 26th, Go Min-si discussed her role in the Netflix series “The Frog”at a café in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, that morning.
“A suspenseful thriller, “The Frog”follows the lives of individuals whose tranquil existence is disrupted and thrown into disarray by the unexpected arrival of a mysterious visitor during the midst of summer.”
Go Min-si portrays “Seong-ah,”a enigmatic character who becomes fixated on Young-ha (played by Kim Yoon-seok), ultimately disrupting his once tranquil existence.
Go Min-si responded to the praise she received for her portrayal of a character vastly different from her previous roles by expressing her gratitude, stating, “I am extremely thankful. As ‘The Frog’ marks the conclusion of my 20s and the start of my 30s, I am delighted that the show was well-received and loved by many.”
Upon being selected once more by Netflix for her role in the “Sweet Home” series, Go Min-si humorously quipped that she hopes to fulfill the role of “Netflix’s Daughter” by being a “dutiful daughter.” She further expressed, “I find joy in immersing myself in a project and achieving positive outcomes. If given the opportunity to collaborate with Netflix again, I will put my utmost effort and enthusiasm into being a dutiful daughter.”
