Popular VTuber Ironmouse has exceeded her personal Twitch subscriber record during her month-long subathon, generously committing to share the earnings with charity.
Each year, Ironmouse hosts a live subathon on her Twitch channel, where fans come together to raise funds for charitable causes.
At the end of the month, this renowned VTuber donates half of her revenue to the Immune Deficiency Foundation. In July 2023, she achieved over 205,000 subscribers, securing her spot as the fourth most-subscribed streamer of all time.
Her 2024 subathon kicked off on September 1, and within just 25 days, she has already shattered her previous record.
As of this writing, Ironmouse’s subscriber counter displays a remarkable 214,743… and the numbers are climbing rapidly, thanks to her philanthropic supporters.
This subathon coincides with Twitch’s annual SUBtember event, where the platform contributes an additional subscription for every five gifted by individual users, significantly boosting her subscriber numbers.
While surpassing her previous records is an impressive feat, Ironmouse currently holds the fourth position on the list of highest all-time subscribers, following Ninja, Ludwig, and Kai Cenat.
The new subscriber goal displayed on her stream highlights her ambition to reach Ludwig’s second-place standing, which is 283,066 subs achieved in April 2018.
This accomplishment comes shortly after she overtook Twitch stars Jynxzi and Kai Cenat to become the streamer with the highest active subscriptions on the platform. Twitchtracker reports that Jynxzi has 99,686 subs as of the current moment, with Kai close behind at 99,675.
Despite her subathon running smoothly, Ironmouse’s YouTube accounts faced significant challenges. After her VOD account fell victim to copyright strikes from a third party, her main account was subsequently removed by the Google-owned platform.
Fortunately, both accounts have been reinstated following the VTuber’s decision to engage legal representation to assist in their recovery.
