Ironmouse Becomes Most Watched Female Streamer on Twitch & YouTube Following Huge Subathon Success

Renowned VTuber Ironmouse has achieved the title of the most-watched female streamer on Twitch and YouTube, a feat propelled by her groundbreaking subathon.

On September 1, 2024, Ironmouse commenced a month-long subathon on her Twitch channel, pledging to donate half of her earnings to the Immune Deficiency Foundation.

As the event kicked off, fans quickly rallied to her channel, leading to a swift increase in her subscriber count as she surpassed records previously held by popular streamers such as Kai Cenat, Ludwig, and Ninja.

By September 23, she claimed the highest number of active subscribers, continuing her ascent, ultimately eclipsing the subscriber milestones set by both Ninja and Ludwig.

On September 30, Ironmouse broke Kai Cenat’s record of 306,621 subscribers, establishing a new benchmark of 326,252 subscribers.

This extraordinary subathon has solidified Ironmouse’s status as the leading female streamer in terms of viewership online.

According to Streams Charts, Ironmouse’s streams accumulated over 9 million hours watched between July and September, during which she streamed for more than 1,065 hours.

Following Ironmouse are three well-known Japanese VTubers from YouTube Gaming, alongside popular Twitch streamers Mira, Jinnytty, Emiru, and Kyedae.

Taking second place, YouTube VTuber Miko streamed for nearly 240 hours during the same period, amassing over 7.86 million hours viewed by her followers.

Emerging creator Mira ranks as the second most-watched Twitch streamer with over 5.17 million viewing hours throughout her 2,185 hours of live streams in Q3 2024.

Post-subathon, Ironmouse expressed her hope that breaking Kai Cenat’s record could lead to greater acceptance of VTubers online.

“It might seem a bit odd seeing an anime girl on your screen, but this helps make it more mainstream,” she remarked.

However, Ironmouse may not retain her astonishing record for long, as Kai Cenat has hinted at launching his own subathon with the intent to reclaim his title.
