Ironmouse has recently shared her thoughts on why she has no intention of reclaiming the Twitch subathon record previously held by Kai Cenat. In September 2024, Ironmouse made headlines when she became the most-subscribed streamer on Twitch, surpassing Cenat’s impressive subscriber count.
Following this achievement, Kai Cenat responded with determination, announcing his intent to regain the title. He initiated the Mafiathon 2 subathon in November, quickly climbing the ranks on Twitchtracker’s all-time subscriber charts and amassing over 700,000 subscribers by the end of the month.
Ironmouse Discusses Her Focus Beyond Subathon Records
As fans speculated about whether Ironmouse would strategically pursue the title again, she recently addressed these questions during a conversation with Anthony Padilla and Damien Haas from Smosh. During the dialogue, she clearly stated her position on the matter.
“Oh my god. Listen. Kai is an amazing entertainer, amazing streamer, astronomical. On a whole other level, he’s a really great guy,” she expressed. “There is no way. There’s no way bro, let’s just be honest.”
Ironmouse emphasized that her main goal during her annual subathons is to create an enjoyable experience for her community while also raising funds for the Immune Deficiency Foundation. “The only thing I want to beat is my previous score, basically. Every time I do one, I just want to raise even more money than I did last time. I’m not thinking about [beating a sub record],” she elaborated.
