Is IShowSpeed moving to Twitch? Rumors spread following YouTube ban

ShowSpeed’s editor has addressed speculation that the streamer may return to Twitch after being temporarily banned from YouTube on his main channel.

According to sources, Speed’s editor, known as ‘slipz’ on Twitter/X, shared a screenshot of the channel violation on social media. Currently, he is appealing to YouTube to overturn the ban, which is expected to last approximately two weeks.

Despite the suspension being lengthy and following Speed’s successful trip across Europe, many viewers were wondering if he would return to streaming on Twitch during this time.

Despite the claim being presented as absolute truth on Twitter, Speed’s editor, known as ‘slipz,’ has debunked the rumors.

It appears that spliz’s response to a fan’s comment, “Twitch time,”was the catalyst for this discussion.

He stated that it wouldn’t be a problem at this stage.

Despite the rumors spreading on Twitch, Slipz himself requested a “source”once they started to circulate. After a fan brought up his previous response, he inquired, “Where is the evidence that Speed is contemplating a move to Twitch?”

There is no official statement from Speed himself about his intentions to stream on Twitch. However, in a recent post on his secondary Twitter account, the streamer mentioned that he is currently taking time to recharge.

Despite being banned from Twitch in 2021, Speed’s ban was eventually lifted in October 2023, almost two years after the initial decision.

This implies that he has the option to transfer his streams back to Twitch, but considering that his main audience is on YouTube, it is unlikely that he will make this change.

Currently, Speed is on a hiatus from broadcasting while he waits for his YouTube channel to be reinstated. He intends to use the channel to live stream his upcoming journey to Southeast Asia in September.
