Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon Season 5 Unveils New Trailer and Cast Ahead of Fall 2024 Premiere

The Warner Bros. Japan official YouTube channel streamed a new promotional video for the upcoming fifth season of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon on Thursday, May 23, 2024. The brief clip announced the addition of new cast members and officially confirmed that the anime will premiere in Fall 2024.

In addition, the anime’s official X account and website have announced additional information about the upcoming events planned for the series.

It is worth mentioning that the upcoming season 5 of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon, also known as DanMachi, will continue the story from the previous season, which aired from January 2023 to March 2023.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon Season 5 Trailer Confirms Fall 2024 Debut

Warners Bros. Japan released a new promotional video on Thursday for the highly anticipated fifth season of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon. The video confirmed that the season will be premiering in Fall 2024 and was also shared on the series’ official website and X (formerly Twitter) account for fans to enjoy.

The brief video opens with Bell Cranel reading an unidentifiable love letter that was sent to him. As stated in the letter, he has been invited on a date to the Goddess Festival by an unknown person.

Additionally, the PV teases numerous captivating scenes and introduces more members of the Freya Familia. The decision has been made to cast Nobunaga Shimazaki as Hedin Selland, a white elf magic swordsman, and Ryokan Koyanagi as Ottar.

In this fantasy anime, Taku Yashro takes on the role of Allen Fromel, while Taichi Ichikawa portrays Grer, Alfrigg, Dvalinn, and Berling (Gulliver Brothers). Joining the voice cast is Haruka Shiraishi as Horn, and Taku Yashiro once again plays the role of Allen Fromel.

It is worth mentioning that Ryokan Koyanagi, Taichi Ichikawa, and Taku Yashiro have all previously appeared in the franchise, while Nobunaga-san, Yusuke-san, and Haruka-san are making their debut in the Danmachi franchise.

The newly announced cast members for Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon season 5 will be joining the previously announced voice actors, who are listed below:

The Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon season 5 team also revealed that the anime will have a panel at the Anime EXPO 2024 in Los Angeles, USA. The event is scheduled to take place from July 4, 2024, to July 7, 2024, and will feature the exciting trailer and announcement of additional cast members.

The panel will be honored by the presence of the DanMachi franchise’s chief producer, Nobuhiro Osawa, as well as the English voice actors. Additionally, exclusive visuals for the upcoming installment will be revealed during the event.

The fifth season of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon will see the return of the previous staff, including director Hideki Tachibana at J.C. Staff and series composition by Hideki Shirane and Fujino Omori. Shigeki Kimoto will continue as the character designer, while Keiji Inai will once again serve as composer.

The upcoming season will continue the adaptation from volume 15, building upon the previous installment which covered the light novels up to volume 14. Fans can anticipate the sequel to center on the new adventures of Bell and his comrades.
