Is Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 272 Coming? Exploring the Future of the Manga

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 272 has become a hot topic within the fan community, as many are speculating about the possibility of the series continuing. The manga concluded with chapter 271, meaning that there will be no chapter 272 or subsequent chapters in the foreseeable future. Nevertheless, this hasn’t deterred fans from crafting their own narratives.

While there may not be an official Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 272 in the pipeline, numerous fans have speculated on a potential sequel to Gege Akutami’s acclaimed series at some point down the line.

Currently, there are no official announcements or reports to support this notion; it mainly stems from the unresolved plotlines and the way the story wrapped up.

There will be no Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 272, as the manga concluded with chapter 271. This chapter featured the final mission of Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki, where they reminisced about their late mentor, Satoru Gojo, and wrapped up the arc for the series’ ultimate antagonist, Ryomen Sukuna.

The primary reason Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 272 has generated discussion recently is due to the myriad of unanswered questions left by the ending, making it difficult for fans to accept that the story has truly finished. Unresolved elements such as Sukuna’s past—especially highlighted by his connection to Uraume revealed in chapter 271—Tengen’s secrets regarding sorcerers per Kenjaku, and the implications of foreign countries getting involved in the Culling Games, are among the many issues left hanging.

This lack of closure has led some fans to believe that Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 272 was imminent or that a sequel might be on the way. However, there has been no official communication from Shonen Jump or Shueisha regarding new content set in this universe, suggesting that Yuji Itadori’s tale has reached its end.

Concerns Regarding the Ending

Many fans were left wanting more from Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 272, particularly because the series didn’t adequately address Satoru Gojo’s death. Furthermore, the manga did not explore the new dynamics of Jujutsu society following significant upheaval, nor did it reveal the future of the main characters. A recurring theme throughout the series was the exploitation of teenagers in the fight against Curses, which was largely overlooked in the latest arcs.

Additionally, Kenjaku’s comments about his will were largely ignored, and the nature of his relationship with Tengen, alongside his connection to Yuji Itadori through Yuji’s mother, was not sufficiently explored. Similar issues arise with Uraume, whose relationship with Sukuna gained prominence in the final chapter, yet her character’s background and significance were never fully explained.

Final Remarks

While there will not be a Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 272 appearing in the near future, the conclusion of the series has elicited frustration among fans. It indicates that there were potential avenues to delve deeper and address critical aspects more thoroughly.
