Is She-Hulk Set to Appear in Daredevil: Born Again? Insights from the Showrunner

As anticipation builds for the upcoming series Daredevil: Born Again, fans are left wondering: Will She-Hulk make an appearance? Showrunner Dario Scardapane recently shared his thoughts on this intriguing question.

Despite her live-action debut on Disney+ receiving mixed reactions, many viewers found the highlight of She-Hulk to be the presence of Daredevil. The excitement surged further when it was confirmed that Charlie Cox would reprise his role as Daredevil, a character he first brought to life on Netflix and gained a strong following.

Cox’s return as Daredevil was marked by a cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home and followed by multiple episodes in She-Hulk, where he notably emerged as a romantic interest for Jennifer Walters. With Daredevil: Born Again scheduled for release on March 4, 2025, the question lingers: Is there room for She-Hulk in this new narrative?

Dario Scardapane, in an exclusive interview with GamesRadar, provided details on the direction of Daredevil: Born Again. He emphasized that the series would intentionally “ignore some stuff from the larger universe”to create a more focused narrative centered on Matt Murdock’s personal journey, including his costume evolution and current life circumstances.

One recurring theme is Daredevil’s fleeting romance with She-Hulk. Scardapane stated, “You can say that Daredevil is canon in the MCU; those other events happened, but some we are not leaning into. His one-night stand with She-Hulk may be one of those things.”

While Scardapane’s remarks hint that She-Hulk’s return isn’t entirely ruled out, he acknowledged the considerable roster of supporting characters set to appear. With familiar faces like Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle coming back, the narrative may become crowded, making it challenging to incorporate Walters.

Since her last appearance in the MCU, rumor has it that She-Hulk may resurface in Avengers: Doomsday, and a second season for her standalone series has yet to be dismissed.

The excitement continues to build for Daredevil: Born Again, which is set to premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025. New episodes will be released weekly, promising an engaging and thrilling view into the life of the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.
