The latest chapter of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga marked the highly anticipated debut of Nobara Kugisaki, to the delight of her devoted fans who had been fearing the worst. The dynamic duo’s fierce attacks on the King of Curses only intensified fans’ excitement for his eventual defeat.

Chapter 267 of Jujutsu Kaisen captivated readers with thrilling plot twists and the return of a beloved character. In his domain, Yuji successfully challenged Sukuna and appeared to have the advantage. Despite the challenges, Yuji remains determined, especially after witnessing Megumi’s determined fight.
Thanks to Nobara’s use of the Resonance technique on Sukuna’s last finger, he was dealt a serious amount of damage and subsequently subjected to Yuji’s Domain sure hit effect. This proved to be a powerful combination against Sukuna.
Yuji was filled with excitement upon seeing his long lost friend, and he immediately used Dismantle to separate Sukuna’s soul before engaging him in close combat.
After Yuji successfully convinced Sukuna to expel the ingested fingers, Sukuna’s strength was significantly reduced. With Yuji delivering the final blow – Black Flash – Sukuna’s confidence shattered, finally bringing an end to the vicious cycle.

Sukuna urges Megumi to take a break and let him take over his body. Despite Sukuna’s warning, Megumi remains steadfast in his belief that Sukuna will be defeated. During their internal dialogue, Megumi asserts that even if Sukuna’s 19 fingers are eliminated, the remaining finger would not possess enough strength to maintain a connection with his soul and continue its effects.
Yuji’s Domain begins to crumble in the physical world, and to everyone’s surprise, Sukuna’s reincarnation body is also affected. As a result, he is forcibly separated from Megumi’s body, transforming him into a small and rapidly vanishing being.
Yuji gathers the remaining residual and listens to Sukuna’s final words. With Sukuna’s existence now coming to an end, he warns Yuji not to underestimate him as he is a curse.

Based on the most recent chapter spoilers and the limited number of chapters left, it is reasonable to believe that the King of Curses, who had been causing chaos in the Jujutsu world, has finally met his end.
Throughout the last few chapters, Gege had been building up the narrative, culminating in a fitting conclusion in chapter 268 of Jujutsu Kaisen. Additionally, Uraume confirmed Sukuna’s defeat before disappearing.
Despite Sukuna, the main antagonist, being permanently defeated, there have been numerous theories suggesting that he may come back as a curse, based on his final words and unsatisfying character ending. However, this is a topic that can be explored in the future if Gege decides to write a sequel. As of now, fans can take comfort in knowing that Sukuna is no longer a threat.
