In conjunction with the start of Pokemon Go’s Max Out season, Niantic has launched an event aimed at giving players extra PokeCoins and other bonuses throughout the month of September.
Ever since the announcement of the Daily PokeCoin Bounty on August 30, players have been discussing the potential value of the bundle. This includes determining whether the tasks required to maximize its value are worth the effort.
Below is a detailed list of what is included in the initial stage of the Pokemon Go PokeCoin Bounty, and whether it is a worthwhile investment or better off ignored.

If your only goal is to increase your stock of PokeCoins, then the $4.99 price for the PokeCoin Bounty is not worthwhile.

Completing the daily research every day until October 2, when the event ends, will earn you 600 PokeCoins. This, combined with the 200 coins received from Timed Research, will give you a total of 800 PokeCoins for $4.99.
If you were to go to Pokemon Go’s in-game store at this moment, you could purchase 550 PokeCoins for the exact same cost. This means that you will receive an additional 250 PokeCoins as a bonus. Considering the effort and dedication needed to earn the entire amount, it is advisable to leave this Bounty on the shelf.
